Today i had one lesson in the morning at the middle school. Then i was off to the elementary. It was playing rock, paper, scissors and counting. It was okay, but you can only do one song so many times. though it does make it worth it when they are all happy and doing it with you. Lunch was very good today. We had cheese covered meatloaf, though they called it cheese hamburgers. Though hamburgers in japan are more of a meatloaf. They don't even put them on bread. The pumpkin pottage with pumpkin gnocchi was very good. I really like Japanese corn cream soups and pottage. After classes, i had a meeting with the teacher for next weeks plans. I am going to be observed next week during class at the elementary school. It had been raining since noon, and when i went the hour plus trip round trip to go for groceries, it was not that fun. I went late, so by the time i was done with shopping, it was dark. For some odd reason, all the cars headlights seem really bright and positioned to be in your eyes in Japan. I do not like driving in the rain at night in japan. I imagine that it will be horrible to go driving in the snow. At the grocery store i went next door to the drug store to get some face cleaner and i also ended up getting a nice green fleece blanket. It feels very nice. During class at the elementary, i had to show the kids how to count to ten on your finger the American way. Apparently when you start with your thumb and count up to four, the four is really hard for some Asians that i have found. I stayed on four and nine for a while because they were groaning in pain. It hurts a little on my right hand, but it is easier on my left hand. At the grocery store i bought some delicious chocolate almond Pino. They are chocolate dipped ice cream bites. It was very good. But the thing i dislike about Japanese products is their slogans. They are almost more than a sentence long or at least really long one. They are in English, and the English is for the most part very strang. It's like, why do you not like your language enough to put a slogan on your products in your own language.
