Last Entry for the Year

Peace out y'all. This will most likely be my last entry for the year and the start of me being offline for a while. I will have my phone, but i will not use it while i am abroad.

Today was just so long with it being the last day. Tomorrow i head up to Sapporo to start this nice long vacation that i have been planning ever since i came back from Tokyo this summer.

This year has brought along many changes in my life, some i have discussed on here, losing more than 50 pounds or so and trying to lose more-but that has been sidestepped with the winter weather and going abroad with all that good food access- and other things which i would rather not divulge on the online community. I am understanding and getting used to all the Japanese around me, but for some odd reason as i am asked more detailed things, i feel that i lack the proper facilities to express myself, but i am trying to learn more. Paying attention in English class helps a little you know. Sometimes i feel like i get more out of the English classes than the kids do. Learned some things in my own free time and i have made some really good friends. I have meet and bonded with someone that i never thought i would get this close to- Amber you are a great friend and i cherish knowing you. I hope everyone has a good new year and Holiday break, as for me i am kissing Japan goodbye. See you in 2011!!!!

Here are the pictures from the Bonenkai that we had in Jozankei this past night. It was pretty fun, and nice to see the teachers in a relaxed atmosphere. Now to get ready for London. I have cleaned and gotten all my stuff ready i think. Now to wait on one more day of school. Why didn't i take a day off, Christmas Eve is like torture, but rather the fact that today is a holiday and then just one more day before the break is sort of annoying.

Not much has gone on this week before i head off to London. The snow is looking okay i guess based on 7 day forecasts, but you never know, i just hope i get there with no problem.

I dressed up like Santa for the elementary school i went to today. I was okay, but that beard itches. The rest of the suit is surprisingly comfortable, i might just have to wear it as sleepwear one time.

Tonight is the year-end party for the middle school and we are taking a bus about an hour and a half away to Jozankei to spend the night at a hotel there and have the party. It should be fun and it is always nice to see the teachers when they are a little more relaxed.

I have been doing math practice and review for the last little while and i downloaded some calculus videos onto my iphone which will keep me entertained on the plane. I just feel so bad that i have forgotten all my math, especially when i loved it so much. Math is the  universal language and it is just so fun to always be able to solve a math problem. 

Jennie's B-Day

Here are the pictures from Jennie's birthday party that we had for her on friday night. It was great, but that cake just made you want to throw up due to the size and richness and goodness i guess from it. It was so huge for just 8 people.

Now for the last week of school and then i hopefully will be able to go to London, barring the snow doesn't cancel my flight since that has been happening somewhat a lot lately according to the airplane website.
