Had a pretty fun weekend in Sapporo. Went to Costco with a friend and was proud that i only spent 40 dollars there. I bough salsa, peanut butter, cheese, and a tiramisu cake. Only the essentials. I think that before my membership runs out i will just make a trip there and get like 12 things of peanut butter and some salsa, and not get it for another year. Then we chilled out at their place and then we went clubbing. We danced and we talked with one of the workers there. He told us a pretty bad/embarrassing story about his first time to America and Mexico shortly after 9/11. He had an afro at the time, and didn't know English so he was patted down, strip searched, full body searched, dog sniffed, and then two attendants took batons and moved his butt cheeks apart to allow the dog to sniff there as well. Then he said that he had a gun held to his back twice while in Mexico. It kind of makes me want to actively help foreigners in America when i get back. Maybe some sort of tour guide or at least a concierge at an airport.
Dancing was fun, but tiring. It was like my friend and i that were dancing, and then two or three pop-and-lockers and then just some other swayers in the club. The music wasn't that good, but at least the bar was called the "Booty Bar" so it was sort of nice. My clothes smelled of bad cigarette smoke the next day.
My contract is pretty much secure i think, and i should have the paper work in the middle of the month. From most other people's schedules there seems to be summer break in August, so i am thinking of coming back to the US for a week or two during that time, and then maybe stop somewhere else on the way back before going home.
