I had a long, long weekend with some friends. On Saturday i drove up to Sapporo and hung out with some of my friends. We had dinner together at a curry place and then we walked around while they looked for shoes and clothes. Sometimes it is hard to have female friends that just love to go shopping, and then you go to the stores and just feel bad because you could never fit into any of the clothes in a million years because they are for girls with negative size waists. Not that i would want to wear any of the clothes, but the clothes for men are not much bigger.

     Then on Sunday, Amber had a judo tournament that her school was in, so i went to watch that. It was at the city sport center so it was a huge place. While i was walking around the place out of boredom from just seeing the kids throwing each other, i saw that in the arena next to the dojo there was a ban festival going on, so i went to see that. It was pretty good, and for their ages the bands were good. There was even an elementary band there, and they were good for their age- that means pretty bad, but you have to give them credit. The high school bands were pretty good, and then there were dance teams and baton twirling teams as well. Then that night we drove over to Atsuma-cho about an hour and a half away from Sapporo to spend the night with another friend.

     Monday was good. we all drove around Atsuma and then we went to the outlet stores in Chitose near the airport. It was nice, but i didn't find anything that i wanted, though the cooking supply stores had some good things. Then it took me 4 hours to get home. Man that was a long drive.
