Just another couple of days with lessons. Today the third years were pretty much horrible, and i will say it. Even the teacher kind of tuned out and just said the answers and paid no attention to the disrespect that all the kids were giving him. Throwing tissue balls, pestering the people behind them, talking in groups, getting up and standing up. I have little faith in that one class, and i am very just disappointed in a lot of them since last year, they have changed a lot.

The first years were very good, and always happy and energetic. I am always glad to teach the first years. Most of them pay attention and know the answers. Some kids have a real hard time with it, and i wish there was something that i could do for them, because they will most likely end up just becoming quiet and lost during the next two years, or they will be causing a ruckus to compensate.


Then there was the Board of Education's Hanami yakiniku party tonight. It was pretty good, but salty as i am trying to watch the sodium intake. I had intestines, fish, and all sorts of stuff that i normally do not eat at all. Then they had lost of shellfish:scallops, oysters, mussels and such. The weirdest thing was that they had some octopus beaks there and ate the meat around it. I was just surprised by it.

The Hindi is coming along, still trying to get my reading down of Devanagari and some grammar and vocab in there as well. The hardest thing is some of the conjuncts can be hard if they are like three consonants together, or the special conjuncts. Oh well, a challenge is a challenge.
